The Nalanda International Public School was founded in the year 1989. It is run by the Nalanda Cultural Educational Research Society which is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and also under the Bombay Public Act XXIX of 1950.

            The Nalanda International Public School is open to boys and girls of all communities without any distinction of caste, creed or social status. The School is run on a residential Public School lines and has been specially equipped and staffed for achieving its aims and objects. The school also admits a certain portion of boys and girls as day scholars. Every possible from the educational and training, the school has to offer. The day scholars may, at moderate rate, have meals during the day in the school mess.
