Admission
1.
Application for admission must
be made in a prescribed form A
copy of
application form can be obtained
from the School’s Office on
payment of Rs. 250/-. or can be
downloaded from the website and
sent with a DD or Rs. 250/-
along with a photocopy of
previous years marks card of the
child.
2. The application form should
also accompany a Registration
form (issued along with a copy
of prospectus) and Registration
fee of Rs. 250/- for registering
a student’s name on the waiting
list. This payment of Rs.250/-
does not carry any guarantee of
a seat and the amount is neither
refundable nor adjustable, if
the student is admitted or
refused admission or if a
parent/guardian fails to bring a
student for admission after
his/her name has been
registered. This registration
only entitles a student to be
considered for admission.
Parents are advised to confirm
what chances their children have
of being admitted. It should be
noted that the registration is
only for one academic year.
3. The application form must be
accompanied with an attested
copy of the marks sheet of the
last Annual examination and a
preliminary medical certificate
in the prescribed form
obtainable from the School
Office or downloaded from the
website. In case of children
admitted in pre-primary classes
and in Std. I the admission form
must accompany a date of birth
certificate.
4. A student is admitted to the
standard to which he/she is
entitled by the School Leaving
Certificate, subject to the
previous record.
5. Children who are below 5
years of age, by the end of
June, are not admitted in Std.
I.
6. A date of birth certificate
should be from Muncipal of
village records.
7. In case of students admitted
in Std. II and above a School
Leaving Certificate from the
School last attended must be
submitted only when, admission
is made definite here.
8. After the registration of
student’s name, parents are
informed whether
admission is possible as desired
and about the day fixed for the
entrance test and interview with
the Principal.
9. Immediately after the
announcement of results for the
admission, the parents are
required to pay the School fees
of the first term along with the
amount towards caution money and
Private expenses.
10. Detained or failed students
from other schools are not
considered for admission.
Students are admitted to the
standard for which they are
found fit after a written test.
11. The Principal reserves the
right of refusing admission or
readmission without assigning
any reason for doing so.
12. No student will be admitted
until the Principal meets the
student and his/her parents or
guardian who will be responsible
for the students conduct,
studies and School fees.
13. A student from outside the
State seeking admission here
must get his School Leaving
Certificate countersigned by the
Education Inspector of that
place.
14. Parents or guardians will be
required to sign an undertaking
that they will abide by the
Rules and Regulations as made
from time to time.
15. Entrance test is held in
subjects like English, Maths,
Hindi and General Knowledge.
16. So long as Transfer
Certificate is not submitted,
the admission will be treated as
provisional only.
MODE OF PAYMENTS
1. All fees are payable in
advance on the first day of each
term. In case of newly admit
students these fees are to be
paid immediately after the
confirmation of admission.
2. Crossed cheques/Bank drafts ;
Money orders etc., are to be
made payable to “The President
NCER Society, Belgaum.”. Online
fees remittance also is allowed.
The Payments details are as
follows.
3. Those children whose fees
have not been paid on the first
day of each term may not be
allowed to join the Hostel and
attend the Classes.
4. No student will be allowed to
commence a new term whose fees
for the preceeding term remain
in arrears.
5. No reduction of fees for
either a day scholar or boarder
will be made in case of students
who return or report to School
late after the term has started.
6. A receipt duly signed will be
issued for all the fees paid.
7. All queries relating to
School bills should be addressed
to the Principal within 15 days.
8. A statements of each
student’s expenditure on books,
note books, stationery, clothes,
hosiery, shoes, chappals, toilet
articles, special medicines,
trips, excursions, picnics,
entertainments, functions,
publication, washing charges,
haircut charges, examinations
expenses, tutorial charges,
hostel common expenditure,
breakages etc., will be sent to
the parents at the commencement
of each vacation and this
account should be settled by a
period of two weeks.
9. Fees once paid cannot be
refunded. No remission of Fees
is made on account of holidays
or temporary absence for reason
what so ever. If a boarder is
absent on medical grounds for a
period more than 6 weeks
continuously, he/she may be
given concession in the Boarding
fees provided an application to
that effect along with a medical
certificate is produced
immediately after joining the
School after the sick leave.
10. The School Leaving
Certificate will not be issued
unless all outstanding dues are
cleared.
11. No student is allowed to
appear for annual examination or
any Public Examination unless
his account have been settled 15
days before the date of
examination.
12. The School has the right to
amend, alter or add to the rates
or fees that are mentioned here
as circumstances warrant from
time to time.
